About

This blog is about technology and beer, two of my favorite things in life. Here you will find reviews about your favorite brews as well as tips and tricks for working on the computer and on the go. Also I’ll throw in some technology news. I serve as the IT consultant for many of my friends, co-workers and family members. I aim to educate them, make their computing life easier and help provide them with information on tasty beers and consumer electronics and services. Please let me know how I am doing and ask me to post about something. Just leave a comment here and I’ll get back to you. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Hi AJ,

I read your post today about Remote Assistance, and I’m wondering if you would be interested in testing Mikogo - The free online meeting tool.
With Mikogo, users can host smooth-running screen sharing sessions in real-time and invite up to 10 participants simultaneously to any one Mikogo meeting. Switch presenter, remote control, file transfer, etc. are just a few features. No configurations or changes to network/firewall settings required.
Security is of a high standard: data transferred between computers is secured by industry leading end-to-end 256-bit AES encryption.

Check out http://www.mikogo.com when you have a moment. I think you’ll find it is a great tool for consulting your friends, family and colleagues. Businesses are using Mikogo for sales pitches and tech support, so you might also find it useful for work.

Feel free to contact me and I would be happy to send you more information.
    Hope to hear from you.

    All the best,

    Andrew
